The Flow of the Sessions

Ground the Body

We start with a few minutes of stretching, and gentle movement to release tension and reconnect with the body.

Express & Explore

Using watercolours, pastels, acrylics, or pencils, participants create a piece based on a guided prompt. Playful, reflective, and open-ended.

Nervous System Regulation

We use breathwork and a short guided meditation to calm the mind, enhance focus, and support emotional resilience.

Foster Connection

We close with a reflection. It's a moment for laughter, and celebration of creative expression.

Somatic Movement & Nervous System

Our workshops draw from somatic movement practices, shown to help release stored tension and restore nervous system balance.

This is accomplished through the completion of thwarted, biologically based, self-protective and defensive responses, and the discharge and regulation of excess autonomic arousal.
